Climb out and kill two rats. You won't be using your boat again. :(
Turn left and go up the stairs, drawing weapons for a thug and 2 more rats (the man drops a large medipack). Go towards the switch to find another 2 rats. Pull the switch, and you see a clip of the door to the villa opening and another thug running out toward you! Wait where you are until he shows himself, then let him have it, taking his small medipack.
Go down and enter the villa, but be careful of two hitmen who are waiting inside...one on the ground floor where you are, and another on a balcony above you. Take care of them, then relieve the one nearest of his shotgun shells. You can search the other man later.
There are some windows to the left...you don't need to go through there unless you want all the kills and pickups. If you do, shoot the windows out, then keep your weapons drawn for a couple of doberman dogs! When they are gone, enter and take the small medipack, flares and automatic pistol clips you find inside.
As you leave the room, turn left and make your way (carefully!) past the sword-wielding statues (they start to swing their swords as you approach), light a flare and enter the dark room ahead to pull a lever. Return to the main room (the statues are now harmless).
To get to the balcony where you shot one of the gunmen, there are two ways you can go:
1. Short Way - Find the climbable wall to the right of the entrance to the villa. Jump up to grab it and then climb up and to the left to reach the balcony (screenshot).
2. Long Way - In the main room, find the wooden ramps. Stand with your back to the largest of the two, take two steps forward and flip back, keeping the jump button pressed to immediately jump forward. Press action to grab the ledge ahead and pull up (screenshot). There's a movable block up there...push it twice so you can stand next to it and run and jump over to the balcony.
Take his automatic pistol clips and climb the wall over to the outer balcony, drawing weapons for another hitman on another balcony to your right. You can search him later.
At the end of the balcony you are on, is an area with an opening (screenshot)...run and jump to the red awning opposite, pressing action once you land as Lara will start to slide and needs to grab the edge. Shimmy left, pull up and press jump to backflip onto the balcony behind. Walk to the edge, then run, jump and grab the next ledge, before taking a running jump over to the next red awning. Turn around, jump forward and press action so Lara lands in the doorway. Draw weapons for two more dogs. Keep your weapons out for another thug as you head upstairs and into the room on the right.
As you enter the room the hitman came from, take a good look on the wall to the left of the doorway...there's a lever that you can barely see (screenshot)...this opens another door at the top of the stairs where you just came from, which takes you to the balcony where you killed the sniper earlier. Out here you'll find the Silver Dragon! The deceased sniper has some shotgun shells, so pick them up before heading back inside.
Go back to the room with the switch and shoot out the window. On the balcony outside is yet another hitman...get rid of him and take his two sets of Uzi clips. Follow the balcony to another window...shoot this out, but be careful...you don't want to get caught on the balcony as you are attacked by two dogs and two thugs with clubs! Make sure you are in the room with them so you have plenty of room to jump about to avoid being hammered! You can also shoot out the window and run back to the first room for them to follow you, but I usually just get them from here.
After this, there is a way to skip the rest of the level via a series of bugs and shortcuts, but you will miss out on one of the secrets. You can find the details on Stella's website here.
The wall at the back of the fireplace is actually a movable block...push it twice and climb up to the opening, ready to dispatch another rat. At the end of the passage you look down onto a slope with some deadly-looking blades along the side of the wall. At the bottom is an equally deadly fire trap...and it's timed! The first part is relatively easy...as you slide down the slope you can just jump over the blades, hopefully taking little or no damage.
The fire trap shouldn't be too difficult, but the timing has to be precise...Walk slowly towards the first flame platform...Lara should have her feet half-on and half-off the platform (screenshot). If she steps on to it fully, it will put out the flames, which will start the timer. Quickly jump over to each platform before the flames re-appear (video). These are standing jumps, so nothing complicated is required...luckily for me! It's also been said that you can swim under the firetraps, climb out onto the last one and walk through the centre of the flames, but I've never tried this myself.
The next area is the ballroom. The door to it opens as you approach, but do so carefully as there is a hitman and two more dogs to deal with! You can do that from above, but you won't have much room to move around, so you may want to drop down and face them head-on.
As you drop into the room, there is an angled block in front of you. Go around and climb up onto it, and then pull up onto the chandelier above it. Turn around and run, jump and grab over to the next two chandeliers. From the last one, pull up onto the ledge above. Go around to the right, taking care of two more rats as you go. Keep going to the bricked platform and do a safety drop down to the switch. (My daughter just jumps to the switch from the second chandelier.) Pull it to open a secret door high up in the wall on the opposite side of the room. Jump and grab back to the middle chandelier and make your way back up and to the right to the bricked platform near where you killed the two rats.
Walk to the edge and jump up to grab the wooden rafter above (screenshot). Shimmy right until you can pull up onto it. Look ahead and slightly down...you'll see another wooden platform...run and jump across to it, but be careful as a thug appears as you climb up onto the lower part of the brick wall on the right. Deal with him and take the small medipack that he drops. Climb up onto the highest part of the wall and walk to the edge. From there you can do a standing jump across to the wooden platform with the lever. Pull it to re-align the chandeliers. Jump back across to the brick wall and back to the platform where you killed the thug. From here you can now drop down onto the first chandelier which lifted when you pulled the lever (screenshot). Take standing jumps right across to the third chandelier and turn to face left...now you should be able to see the alcove you opened up earlier. Run, jump and grab to it, then pull up to take the library key.
Run, jump and grab your way back to the middle chandelier. From there, stand at the corner facing the window ledge (screenshot). Run and jump across to the window and pull the lever. This opens a trapdoor outside, which is actually the back of the chimney. You could, if you were feeling brave, drop down from the secret door and down behind the fireplace...there's water underneath which will put out the flames, but you may want to err on the side of caution and do it the long way!
Shoot the window next to the lever and then climb through and turn right. Walk to the end and drop down through the hole. You come out near the library, but there's something you will want to do before you use the key to open the library door. If you look around, you will see an underwater lever...pull this to open the door nearby. Swim through and surface...you are going to need a big breath of air for this next part! Look to the right to see an underwater tunnel...you need to swim down there and swim to the right...go towards the far-left of the next area and you will see two pairs of grenades...to the right of this is the Gold Dragon! To the right again and you should see a lever on the wall...pull it and swim straight up for some much needed air! (Please note that you can always pull the lever and and surface before you get the goodies!) You also may want to light a flare before swimming down if you find it a bit too dark.
Make your way back to the library door and use the key to open it. Draw weapons and run forward to meed another thug. Drop him then grab his small medipak before venturing into the room out of which he came. Turn right and you will come to some climbable bookshelves between two wooden platforms above (screenshot). Climb up on the left side, turn around and kill two rats opposite. Jump over and pull the lever opposite. You will see some doors opening back near the entrance and another hitman comes through them, so jump down and take care of him.
Go through the now open doors into the room where he came from and climb up the bookshelves to the immediate left of the door. Turn around and run and jump over to the ledge opposite and then use the bookshelves to the left to climb up to the next level. Do a diagonal jump over to the window and shoot it out. Walk to the edge and look down...under the window is a red awning, and opposite is a small balcony. As soon as you jump down to the awning you will start to slide. You can either jump down backwords, press action to grab the edge, pull up and press 'jump' and 'back' to backflip to the balcony, or jump forwards and jump to the balcony just before you reach the end of the awning...the backwards way is slightly easier.
You can see a tiled overhang opposite the balcony...run and jump or jump and grab over to it. From there, walk to the edge and do a standing jump over to the wall...the building over the water is the boathouse. Once on the wall, go to the right to the very end of it where there is a small ramp and the wall is lighter. You need to stand at the edge (screenshot), then run, jump and grab over to the boathouse roof. Walk to the back of the roof and you will see another wall with an arched opening. To get to it you need to position yourself at an angle (screenshot), jump forward and press 'action' to land in the opening. At the other side of the wall, climb or drop down into the water to find your Uzis! Yay!
Climb back out* and drop down onto the wooden walkway below. Follow it to the boathouse doorway with weapons ready for another thug inside! When he's down, pinch his automatic pistol clips and climb up onto the table in the room to retrieve the detonator key.
Swim across the water (or run and jump, pressing 'action' so Lara lands in the doorway) to the garden door and enter as quickly as possible as another hitman awaits! He drops a large medipack, so pick this up and shoot out the windows of the library and go through. You find yourself back in the main entrance, and there's one more unopened door left, so pull the lever to open it and enter cautiously. There are a couple more baddies in the garden outside the window, so get rid of these and collect the shotgun shells and Uzi clips they kindly drop for you.
Set in the garden wall is a door that will open as you approach...go through it, jump in the water and swim to the left, then around to the right where there is a ledge for you to pull yourself up onto. Kill the rat that's there and climb up onto the wall. As you approach the next, higher, wall you will see a detonator, but there's something else to do first. Climb up on to and follow the wall to the left, to the large, abandoned building at the end. Climb up to the first low roof and shoot out a window to gain access to the Jade Dragon! Now you have all the secrets, you are rewarded with four boxes of shotgun shells!
Now for the detonator...there's really no need to go back and use it, but you can if you want an extra kill, or just for funsies! Set it off to blow up the abandoned building, then weapons out for a sniper on the balcony on the opposite wall. Kill him (but he leaves no goodies for you), then walk back to the abandoned building and enter the room with the yellow wallpaper to see a hole in the ceiling to the right. Climb right to the top and then behind the building and slide down an opening to the next (very creepy!) level.
If you don't want to bother with the detonator, just climb out of the window you shot out, turn right and walk to the end, jump up to the next walkway, and keep taking right turns until you can slide down to the next level.

* When climbing ladders etc., you can jump up first to grab higher up before you start climbing...this just saves a few seconds of climbing...I'm lazy! :-)
